Q1: Is it possible to stream DRM-protected content from sites such as Netflix or Hulu using the app?

The answer is no, since the app cannot play DRM-protected videos. However, you can simply mirror your content, pictures and even tabs. Apps which need HDCP protection will show you a black screen or an error message.

Q2: How do I use the APK on my streaming device?

You simply need to download the castreceiver APK to your USB flash drive and then move it to your device using any file management apps. You can move the file from your flash drive to your streaming device, enable the "Install from unknown sources" option in your security settings, and then install the APK.

Q3: What else do I have to install on my phone so that I can cast from it?

You don't need to install anything else on your device or Chromebook; just download the CastReceiver app on the receiving device and use it on the same Wi-Fi network.

When you have an additional Android-based tablet, phone, or media player, this is the app that turns it into a wireless display receiver. The CastReceiver app lets you project your screen or cast Chrome tabs to the larger display wirelessly without buying any external devices.

The setup procedure for this app is very simple. You just have to find and install the app using the APK download link. Open it, and the screen will appear in your casting menu immediately. With it, you will easily share your photo albums, present your slides in meetings, and listen to audio using a speaker system.

If you need this app for custom TV boxes or displays where you cannot install applications, then you can download castreceiver apk and install it in a couple of minutes. The installation will be very easy and convenient.
